Last week, as part of our D&T topic, we designed and made our own Olympic Torches. What do you think?

  1. Hi guys,

Great Olympic torches! I like how you have wrapped the tin foil around the Olympic torch. I especially like Darnell's.

  2. The torches look really really good and it looks like you spent a lot of time on them. I thought it was fun making the flames for the torches and I'm quite excited about putting in the circuit to make it light up.

  3. Dear Poplar Class,
We love your Olympic torches! The flames look great - very realistic. Are you going to have a relay? We are very excited about the torch as on Wednesday it is coming right past our school!
Thanks for your comments on our blog!

    Dear Swanmore,
Today we went to see the the exiting event of the Olympic torch relay In Shewsbery. The street was very crowded as this was a very speicial event. It was day 12 in Britan that the relay was going on and the torch was still burning! Everyone was clapping whistling and cheering as the festival went on. It was amazing and it was a once in a life time to see the Olympic torch in Britan.
P.S lok at the pictures above.
