The clouds broke, the sun disappeared and rain came tumbling down. Tornadoes came and blew the trees away. The heavens opened and thunder clattered around the house. The hail came crashing down. The sky was black and the lightening strikes.
Lucas, What a descriptive set of sentences! Your choice of words makes your sentences "come alive" - words like "tumbling down", "blew the trees away", and 'clattered around the house" put pictures in my head about how ferocious the storm was. Thank you :-) MrsP (Team 5scc)
