The sky was black and it was pouring with rain. There was thunder smashing and I was cold. Everything was flooded, the river was high and the drains were overflowing. Then suddenly, "BANG," a huge flash of lightening went through the sky.
"BOOM!" Thunder echoed in the sky.
That reminds me of what is happening in New Orlens, Louisianna.

ReplyDeleteYou have used some terrific words to show how wild the weather was - "pouring" and "smashing" and "overflowing" really help to show what was happening. Your sentences are very descriptive and make me feel like I am there in the storm too!
