100 Word Challenge - Week 22
This week we have a photograph for the prompt. It was taken in the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh.
Look carefully at it and think about a creative story that it might be linked to. Please make sure it is your own work that you share!

Egyptian Project
Over half term, children in Poplar class were challenged to produce a piece of work based on our Egyptian topic. This could have been anything from writing in hieroglyphics to making a pyramid or death mask. The children have produced some amazing work which they should all be very proud of. All entries are going to be judged by members of staff (an extremely difficult task), with the top 3 recieving a prize! Can you help? Which is your favourite?

Welcome to our blog!
Hello and welcome to the Poplar Class blog!
We are a Year 4 class at Greenfields Primary School. In this blog we will share what we've been learning about and activities that we have taken part in.
Our current topic is the 'Ancient Egyptians'. We have been learning about the pyramids, the River Nile, Tutankhamun and the gruesome process of mummification!!
In our Literacy lessons, we have linked our outcomes with the Egyptians. We have just written quest myths based in Egypt (some of which will be posted on our blog) and are now working towards producing information texts about the 'Ancient Egyptians'.
Please feel free to follow our class blog and post any comments.
Thanks
Mr H
