One evening Finlay wanted to watch a very scary movie, but his dad said that he would get too scared if he watched it. When his dad went to bed, he crept down the stairs and quietly switched on the TV.
The next day, Finlay went to the park with his two friends. Weirdly, the monster from the movie was a statue in the park. Finlay just ignored it and carried on playing. Suddenly, he felt something breathing on his neck. He turned around and saw the mutant chipmunk. He ran and hid behind a tree. The big mutant animal wanted to eat people...

There is was standing on the podium giving me a snarling look in the eye. A big frozen alien. It had been there for hundreds of years. I decided to walk away because it was boring! Suddenly, something grabbed me. It turned me around. I was face to face with the alien. My heart was pumping like a needle, pumping into someone's arm one hundred times. I could see the look in his eyes, he was about to drop me. He did! I was falling from a great height, through the sky. I didn't know what to do...

The sky was black. It poured down with big drops of rain. Two tornadoes came crashing down near the river and the water flew up in mid air. There was a huge flash of lightening and it executed all of the trees. The lightening lit up the world.

The sky was black and it was pouring with rain. There was thunder smashing and I was cold. Everything was flooded, the river was high and the drains were overflowing. Then suddenly, "BANG," a huge flash of lightening went through the sky.
